Passion
As proclaimed and verified by my wife from the early days of my career,
I'm a self-professed news junkie. Professionally speaking, I'm a broadcast journalist, news analyst and talk show
host with over 20-years experience in commercial and public
broadcasting. I've covered crime, sports, politics, entertainment, pop
culture and everything in between. I'm fairly accomplished as a news
anchor, and documentary producer; and I've traveled America and Europe in an effort to share
information and report the facts. I
have interviewed some of the biggest names in show biz, education,
government, law, religion and more. I love this stuff! But I don't
particularly care for the direction the news media are taking with
relation to ownership, content, and a host of other issues. Look for my
ongoing commentary on these and other media-related matters.
Purpose
I'll use this site to share my views on many topical subjects with
you-especially broadcast-related content, particularly news and
entertainment;
however, it's not really a news site. It's my personal and professional
opinion web. There's not much about which I don't have
strong opinions. Here I don't have to give the pretense of objectivity,
but I will always strive to present a propositional, analytical
monologue that allows you to think for yourself. As important, I'll use
this space to spotlight causes, people, and programs I believe help all
Americans,
while using it to also critique those groups, individuals, events,
institutions and trends I see as destructive and/or dubious to our
society, community and culture. I believe in truth. I believe in moral,
spiritual and empirical absolutes. I think good will always trump
evil-especially where courageous people act on their
convictions and good intentions.
