In the latest tale from the Crescent City, a-k-a New Orleans, Mayor C. Ray Nagin has again demonstrated signs of the dreaded foot-in-mouth disease with which so many American black politicians and celebrities seem to suffer these days.

Entertainers and other celebrities are anointed with an almost automatic mantel of credibility by popular media and their fan base.  But why?  While the right to express their opinions is as valid as that of any American, some would argue the level of ignorance some of these celebrities express is exceeded only by their hypocrisy.  The reverend Jesse Lee Peterson has compiled what he calls his 'Black List' of entertainers' opinions, which he asserts are at the very least intellectually and morally dishonest.  See if you agree.
